University of Pittsburgh

Campaign for University of Pittsburgh installed in 30th Street Station, Philadelphia’s largest train station. The project involved creating large-scale banners, smaller posters, wall and floor graphics, and digital/video content. Created in collaboration with Kolar Design.

Concept

The goal of the campaign was to highlight the University of Pittsburgh’s accomplishments as the number one public university in the Northeast through the lens of its diverse people and unique place. Implementation was envisioned as a “takeover” campaign, in which all advertising and graphics in the station were integrated for the same purpose.

Design

The design process for this project involved several rounds of concepting and revisions, eventually settling on a graphic-heavy style that also featured plenty of photography. We created a wide range of pieces for a variety of different applications, from large scale wall hangings and floor graphics to multi-sided kiosk posters and videos.
